    Thanks for reaching out @plusupdotin,

I’ve inspected your site manually while also confirming your Analytics visits are firing using the tagassistant.google.com service. From doing so I can confirm that all is working as expected, with your Site Kit placed Analytics snippet.

As the message you’re encountering is normal if you’ve just added a Google Analytics property to your site I would expect that data will appear as normal shortly. It typically takes a day or two before your Analytics data is ready, at which point the Site Kit dashboards will populate.

We have more information on this on the plugin website. I’m happy to keep this support topic open and check back with you later in the week to ensure all is working as expected if you wish?

Hi James! I have a similar problem. So far, I haven’t had to worry about Site Kit. Everything changed after the last update of the plugin on 13.03. According to Analytics, my site has 0 visits, which is not correct. There are no problems with the other Ad Sense and Search Console modules, they give accurate data. Would you look to know how to solve this problem – varnamaps.eu

    Hi there @pyanev,

Site Kit gathers the information shown within the plugins Analytics widgets from a users Google Analytics account. For that reason the figures shown within Site Kit should match that shown at analytics.google.com.

If you’re finding unusual reporting or a lack or reporting from a plugin update I’d certainly be happy to troubleshoot these with you, as far as we can support within the plugin forums. In order to do so please open an individual support topic. After doing so please share your Site Health information privately or provide your site URL and I can perform some checks, both manually and using the tagassistant.google.com service.

Looking forward to hearing from you. I’ll keep an eye out for your topic.

Just to clarify the situation. Since the data coincides in both places, what is the sequence of information sharing. Does the SIte Kit submit data to Google Analytics or vice versa?

Good question @pyanev. Site Kit shows the information from your Google Analytics account, and not the other way around. If you want to open an individual support topic I can check your Analytics snippet placement, while also checking do I spot anything unusual with your setup that may be blocking reporting.

    Hi @lifestyledbysam,

From reviewing the link you shared, the guide provides instructions on how to implement Google Analytics manually, or via Monster Insights, a separate third party plugin. There are no instructions for setting up using Site Kit, which is the plugin we provide support for here in the Site Kit forums.

You can reach out to the respective third party plugin for assistance with setting up Google Analytics if you wish.

If you decide to use Site Kit to insert your Google Analytics snippet, and you run into any errors or warnings be sure to reach out by opening an individual support topic here in the forums.
