• This is very odd.

I built my WordPress site with ComicPress a few months ago, hosted on GoDaddy.

Everything is working fine, but for some reason, my primary computer at home can no longer access the site or the admin panel, getting the dreaded “No data received” on Chrome, but ONLY when connected to my home wireless network.

But here’s the thing, I have three computers, an iPad and two iPhones connected to the home network and all but my primary computer can access and edit the site.

My primary computer (one of three MacBook Pros in the house), the one I built the site on, cannot access the site when on the home network, but can access it when I use a Personal Hotspot on my iPhone.

I’ve tried clearing cache, using different browsers, but to no avail.

The problem seems to come and go, but this weekend has been worse — and for the life of me, I can’t figure out the issue. I can even access the site through hidemyass.com and pingdom is showing no outages.

The site is artworkgoeshere.com (a webcomic).

    Any ideas?

I think I may have fixed this by recreating my .htaccess file.

The problem started, possibly, when I installed Wordfence. I since uninstalled it, but the problem continued. I noticed some extraneous code in .htaccess — and I can now seemingly access the site since that recreation.

    Ugh…

This seemed to allow me to go back to the website, but upon reloading of the pages, I get the same error… again only on this specific computer on this specific connection.
