My user search log does not appear to capture information about searches. I don’t require anyone to log in, but I’ve conducted searches while logged in, and those queries don’t appear either.

I’ve recently added the Yoast/Relevanssi query fix to my functions.php file; if that’s the problem, then I’ll wait.

I do have the “log user searches” button checked.

When I tried to reset the search logs, I had the following result: “Clearing the logs failed.”

I’m up-to-date on WordPress and Relevanssi, and have had no problems running any searches.

Does anyone have other suggestions for me to try?

    Thanks.

Is the search powered by Relevanssi in the first place? If you run a search, then disable Relevanssi and run the search again, do you get the same results or different results?

If you can access the site database, take a look and see if the log database table actually exists – if clearing the logs fails, it may be the log table doesn’t exist. It’s called wp_relevanssi_log.

Thanks for the quick response. It looks like the log able doesn’t exist. How best to add it?

Run this on on your database: https://gist.github.com/msaari/59f6fc8115aa21c261e6a6ca7131b18c

    That should do the trick.

Hello! I am having the same issue. However, can you tell me how to “run” the code that you provided? Sorry for asking a beginner question!

    Thanks!
