No data being reported to YT for my channel

  • Hi, does YoutTube Lyte prevent analytics from being sent to YouTube? I noticed all my external view traffic disappeared once I installed YouTube Lyte. You can see the linked page, which shows my analytics. The drop on my site is the day YoUTube Lyte was added…Let me know if there is a way to keep sending data back to YouTube as this is important for my channel..

    Afraid I have no experience with YT analytics Mark, but based on what you’re seeing indeed it impacts how that analytics is captured, likely for the simple reason that the LYTE video does not include any YouTube JavaScript (as per design), while that YT JS is needed to capture the data.
