    Hi
After update from 4.0.13 no visiters are count, only comments. Don’t know where is problem.

In settings of WPP – ajax widgets enabled, log views from everywhere.

I’m using CDN caching + w3 Total Cache with APC enabled.
    Rest Api is disabled.
Plugin Health-check shows that my site have a problem with loopback – 511 error. But 4.0.13 version works good. May be there was something to update in DB?

    Hi @regme,

    This is the problem:

    Rest Api is disabled

Starting version 4.1.0 (see changelog and release notes for more details) WordPress Popular Posts relies on the REST API to update the views count of your posts & pages. Grant WPP access to the REST API and the plugin will work as usual.

Thank you! Problem solved. So ajax widget is now unnecessary even with cache plugins?

Don’t mention it, glad I could help. And no, you still need to use AJAX with the widget if you’re using a caching plugin, otherwise your popular posts list won’t get updated until the next time your site’s cache gets rebuilt.
