    Hi there,
Im busy setting up a new website that uses woocommerce. After doing some initial testing i found out that there are no records being displayed of customers on Woocommerce > Customers (page=wc-admin&path=customers).
Although there are several customers existing that are being displayed on wp-admin/users.php with the role customer and those customers all have 1 or more order.

This doesn’t seem like normal behaviour to me. Or am I missing something?
Do I need to enable something in order to make the customers appear on the Woocommerce customer overview?

    Thanks,
    L

    Hi @wpsolutionsbe,

That’s strange! Did you run an import for your Customers and their respective orders? In that case, can you check if there is any related task pending under Woocommerce -> Status -> Scheduled Actions?

    Thanks.

    Hi @rainfallnixfig,
    Thanks for your reply!

All customers were created during the checkout proces and thus have orders.
    No import was done.

Maybe worth mentioning as you are asking if there are scheduled tasks pending:
I have apache basic auth setup for the website as I first want to test and setup everyting prior to exposing it to the big public.
Could this be the reason? I know a lot of scheduled tasks are building up because of the basic auth being in place and no traffic being allowed.

    Thanks

    Hello @wpsolutionsbe,

The Customers feature is a part of WooCommerce Admin, which depends on lookup tables to deliver faster results. Each time an order is placed, scheduled actions are created to update the analytics data – including the customer lookup tables. For shops with lots of orders, this is faster than compiling all of the data on demand.

Every time an order is placed the WooCommerce Admin package updates various lookup tables with scheduled actions called wc-admin_import_orders and wc-admin_import_customers. If you aren’t running any scheduled actions, then your customer list won’t be updated.

I recommend using the ‘Import Historical Data’ tool at WP Admin → Analytics → Settings to repopulate the lookup tables from existing order data.

Hope that helps, and let us know if you have any further questions!

    Hi @lioneldaniel,

Thanks for your reply. Makes sense now!
So I guess everything will work ok once I remove the basic auth and open the website to the public. Then the scheduled actions will happen and the list will get populated.

    Thanks again!

    Hello @wpsolutionsbe,

Thanks for getting back to me, so glad I was able to answer your question!

If you still have trouble after that, feel free to open a new topic in the WooCommerce Admin support forum.

    Have a great day!

I am also facing same type of issue in our Woocommerce based site. No customer list is displaying (screenshot – https://i.ibb.co/QbNSQ2k/wporg.png).I also performed the steps for importing historical data suggested in this article, But it is not working in my case. I am still facing the issue.

    Thanks
