MUST code PHP to use

  • The Selling portion does not work as described. Very few options for the end user, making it worthless. They tell you how to add more options – by editing the code! Isn’t this the reason we buy plugins, so that we don’t have to code?

    I bought the deluxe package with all of the add-ons. The documentation, while voluminous, is sorely lacking in actual useful information. A giant waste of $199 + foreign transaction fee.

    It would be nice to know what I’m actually buying, instead of some over-hyped language on the sales page that doesn’t work in reality.

    Since the author of this review has rewritten his text, my original answer is now a bit confusing. That’s why I’d like to respond to it again briefly.

    I understand that buying a plugin should make the need to customize code manually obsolete. However, regarding Selling Ads, our users’ expectations differ much more than with any other add-on.

    We are aware that Selling Ads will never be able to satisfy and reconcile all the different ideas of our users. Moreover, many of these wishes are not feasible at the moment. Advanced Ads offers hundreds of hooks to allow customization in such cases and give users at least a chance to realize their wanted solution.

    I’m sorry that you seem to be one of those users whose expectations the add-on couldn’t meet out of the box. This experience must have been frustrating for you. Nevertheless, we wish you success and a promising future for your project.
