Waiting for support…

I posted a problem I’m having in the support forum but still no answer. I hope that I can make this a 5-star review but I may have to abandon this plugin and try another.
I used the CSV Import addon to import about 3,000 listings. The import created extra paginated pages for category listings. The extra pages are empty and give 404 errors. For example, the category may only fill 5 pages of listings but 15 are created. The extra 10 pages do not have listings and give 404 errors.

On a separate issue, I was happy to discover that you can make the phone numbers clickable on mobile devices by placing basic html in the field for the phone numbers.
However, if you edit the individual listing the html for the clickable phone number saves as just a phone number (not clickable). It works fine as long as you don’t need to edit individual listings.

Related to the clickable phone numbers is a problem with the maps. I was happy to find that the maps will show on the individual listings even if you don’t use a full address. Just a city alone is enough for the maps to show as long as you have an API from Google.
The problem is that the maps will not display unless you edit the individual listings, one at a time. You don’t have to actually change anything with the listing, you just have to click “Edit” then once you’re in the dashboard for that listing, then click “Update”.
The maps will only appear after that Edit/Update process – even though you’re not actually changing anything.
This relates to the clickable phone numbers because (as I explained above) if you edit an individual listing, you will lose the clickable phone number feature. So this is a big hassle but I’m sure there must be a solution.

The problem with the maps and clickable phone numbers is not a big deal. I think I can work around that. But the problem with the extra paginated pages giving 404 errors is not acceptable. I cannot have that on my website because it is unprofessional. If I cannot get support from LDD for this issue, unfortunately, I will have to use a different plugin. Even though I have already bought 2 instances of the CSV Import addon.

Final note: the reason I like this plugin is that it seems to work well for SEO. I used this plugin a few years ago and only did a few small SEO tweaks. The directory pages started showing well in Google search results. This is why I was hoping that I could use it again.
