No ‘custom theme’ for pages in page.php?action=edit

  • I have a wierd thing in my edit page section of wordpress 2.8.2 -> no custom theme selection for pages available in attributes sidebar.. (Parent & order only visible)

    What could be a reason for this?

    seems like some files in my /theme/ directory were missing, so this feature doesn’t work at all. now i’ve uploaded ‘comments.php’, ‘footer.php’ and some others, so my
