Ok, then I’m affraid that I need to leave your plugin as its not suitebale for us any longer and what I dont understand as earlier versions when your plugin collected these “private” custom post types it worked very well both for table press update as well for post update.

Can you at least tell me from which version did you change to only collect public and also from which version did you change sending of post updates?

I might concider to stay on an earlier version of your plugin.

Re: my previous comment – you’re asking me to help with code relating to another plugin which I’ve never used or have any idea about – you’re best bet is to reply to the thread you had with the TablePress author and just ask how you might be able to implement their code. It’s not that I don’t want to help – it’s that you just need to ask them instead.

Although previous versions may have worked for you, I had quite a few reports from others with issues via the forums and email so I choose to ensure that compatibility works for the majority and also that the plugin stays true to it’s roots and intended purpose. BNFW was never designed to work with other plugins – it was always designed to work with custom post types. The fact that it has worked in the past with other plugins and their custom post types is accidental due to a bug in BNFW working with all custom post types instead of correctly working with public ones only.

You may have luck with either v1.1.5 or v1.1 of BNFW but naturally, you may miss out on all the good stuff that’s due to come out for it in the next few months.

FYI

I have now tested 1.1.5 which have private custom post type and they all work fine even sending mail for all types. So it was what I suspected when I was at work it was probably all our proxy servers that created issues.

I have now created update notification for pages, post and tablepress all working fine.

I will stay at this version as it fulfill our need to 100% for time being.

I think your plugin is one of the best around notifications and I will rank it with 5 stars!!
