No custom fields in page edit but post edit

  • Hi everyone,
    I am migrating a web site from WP 2.9.2 to WP 3.5.1 with new theme. I migrated the database so I kept all custom fields attached to posts/pages.
    Everything is ok but I have a little problem with custom fields box in page edit mode in the new version.
    There is no “custom fields” choice in screen option so I cannot have custom fields box when I create or edit a page. I thought it was caused by a plugin but this problem is only with page and not with new or edit post !
    Do I have modify something in theme files ?

  • look at the top right of your screen, there should be a “screen options” tab, click on that and choose which meta boxes you want displayed, custom fields should be there.

    Thank you Pete, it was of course the first I checked but the problem is that among all meta boxes, custom fields is not available while it is in edit post admin !
