• Hello guys,

I hope someone here can help me:

I had to install and configure w3 total cache for https://www.somewebsite.com. I made a copy of the page to /update2016 folder in the www directory. After that I created a subdomain dev.somewebsite.com and directed that to /update2016. Thus I could work on the copy of the site under dev.somewebsite.com – I installed w3 total cache, configured everything and when the customer said everything was fine, I changed the home folder for the domain from /www to /www/update2016. Now the page doesn’t work anymore. No minified css or js files are being created and I can’t find the problem. I guess it has something to do with wrong redirects (maybe still to dev.somewebsite.com) in some configuration file or access rights.

The page is a multisite (german and dutch). I already deactivated that both sites share the w3 total cache configuration, but that did not help.

I hope somebody can give me a hint. Thanks a lot!

    Hello @s3ri4l

I changed the home folder for the domain from /www to /www/update2016

Now, please change back to /www again. Login to admin, flush cache completely, disable the plugin. Then point to /www/update2016 and try to activate and check if it works by then.

    Have a good day!

    Cheers
    Ash
