No CSS on website

Can’t see your site. Both welchwerks.com and welchwerks.com renders error – “www.welchwerks.com uses an invalid security certificate.”

i can see it inside my network, but not out, i just turned off the SSL forward

Since we can’t see what’s going on … don’t know what you mean by “outside” and “inside” as well …

I know what he means… inside means inside his local network. Outside means the WAN (i.e. everyone else).

Thank you i i followed that link inside (Intranet) my network that works fine but outside (internet) my family says text is all on the right side that tells me CSS isnt being read , am i right or any idea

Note that the working link has ‘www’, as does your website; the broken link doesn’t. All of your other links on the site are missing the ‘www’ but upon clicking the ‘www’ shows up. I suspect that there is something not quite right about your web.config.

That’s right, because the stylesheet is actually here: https://www.welchwerks.com/blog/wp-content/themes/desk-mess-mirrored/style.css. There is something weird going on with that ‘www.’. The links on the site are missing the ‘www.’ but when clicked are redirected to an URL with the ‘www.’. For some reason that redirect to a ‘www.’ URL doesn’t happen with the stylesheet. It also fails trying to load comment-reply.js for the same reason. I’m thinking its a bad rule in web.config, but I know only slightly more than nothing about web.config, unfortunately.

https://welchwerks.com is pointed to my home network with TZO which changes it to SSL https://www.welchwerks.com my router forwards requests for port 443 and 80 to my windows home server which is hosting my wordpress blog ( yes i have a SSL cert for welchwerks.com)

now if my website shows up without CSS ;what might i do to poit my blog to its CSS

Sorry welchwerks, I am not familiar with home server setup.

@welchwerks, I’m not familiar with the kind of setup you have either but it seems to me that the same thing that is forwarding your web traffic should also be forwarding requests for the stylesheet, which makes me think that there is something in your TZO(?) configuration that is forwarding .html/.php but not .css files. I guess I’d contact TZO with this.
