no css nor ability to login after migration

    I’m lost and I’m not a newbie…I’ve used duplicator in the past and all has worked well. For whatever reason, it’s not working now.

    I’ve tried it many many times moving from Hostgator to hostgator and now several times from HG to local and still the same problem…I don’t know…I’m lost and confused.

    I’m getting zero style, only content and it won’t log in.

    Could it have something to do with the fact I’m running a force HTTPS plugin?

    Yep….I disabled the force HTTP plugin and it worked. I moved from live to local to do updates…I surely hope that when I go back to the live site all is well.

    In step 1 under advanced opts there are some settings for SSL that will write to your wp-config.php those might help in your situation.
