Be sure you have already uploaded covers to Gmedia Library, then go to Gmedia Library page -> click Action button to enter in Edit Mode -> find your music and in the Cover field click browse blue button to select the coverart for the current track.

I did that but it seems that I need to add gmedia custom post type to my theme so it shows the featured image in the archives template for albums.

Is there a reference guide on create gmedia custom post-type template in themes?

Archive pages are generated by your theme but not plugin.
There need to be created custom post type template in a theme for ‘gmedia’ custom post. But the code will be different for each theme, so I can’t write universal guide how to do that.

    Okay gotcha,

Can you tell me though why does the Gmedia Base show every file uploaded?

Do I also have to create a custom post type for it to avoid that?

I was thinking it would show gmedia categories under the Gmedia Base, is that possible?

    Update Gmedia to v1.9.3.
Go to Gmedia Settings -> Permalinks -> disable “Allow Gmedia Posts Archive page” option.
This will disable Archive page for ‘gmedia’ base, but search and categories with tags archives still be available.
