You need to change the maximum execution time, use a text editor to modify the max_execution_time directive in your php.ini file. For example, to set the maximum execution time to 10 seconds, use the following setting:

@rajanit2000 I am currently getting this issue.

Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\Requests\Transport\cURL.php on line 163

It seems to be affecting adding new plugins while adding themes are working fine.

@rajanit2000 Sorry also for the delay. I have changed it inside the .htaccess file and added these values

php_value upload_max_filesize 64M
php_value post_max_size 64M
php_value memory_limit 400M
php_value max_execution_time 180
php_value max_input_time 180

Its wrong revert the changes on .htaccess file

You need to update on your php.ini file
