    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Could you try to install this small plugin, to force the display of the dashboard notices?

    If that doesn’t help, could you delete the Jetpack plugin files, and try to install it again?

    Tried the plugin, didn’t work.
    Tried inspecting the header, no HTML was output to that effect.

    Turns out it was because I was working locally. Connect button doesn’t appear unless the install is on a server. WordPress is the best!
