    Hi guys,

    I need some help as I have no idea how to solve this. I found the issue but I don’t know how to solve it.

    So, the problem is there is no confirmation message after submitting, only error messages are showing (emails are arriving).

    I’m using the barter theme (child) with elementor, woocommerce and several other plugins. The form is inserted via elementor or shortcode.

    What I’ve done with the same result:
    – disabled all plugins
    – checked for errors in console (none)
    – used [response] tag
    – used both html and non html format in form

    Finally, I used twenty twenty-two theme without and with all plugins and the form is behaving how it is supposed to.

    Did anybody encountered this issue before? How can I tackle it?

    Sorry for not being clear. Let me rephrase.

    I have not resolved it.

    The main theme (barter-child) is in my opinion the troublemaker.
    But having no issues in the console (inspect element -> console) leaves me stuck and not having any idea how to proceed to debug.

    Thus I am still seeking help.

    I agree. Obviously the theme is causing the trouble. To be precise, the parent Barter theme in this case. It hides the response box with the display: none; rules.

    I don’t know if it is a “bug” to debug. It might be their design choice. Why don’t you ask the theme vendor?

    Hi,

    It seems to be the designers choice indeed. I wanted initially to ask the developer but there was no activity in the forum.

    Thank you for your response, I edited the stylesheet and now it’s ok. Your observation was the help I was looking for.
