No Confirmation email is being sent

Hello,

I installed Subscribe2 on to my new site. I transferred my existing subscribers from my old site, and it seems to be working fine for them – it sends notifications of my posts. But I have the problem with subscription of new visitors. It doesn’t send the confirmation email to new subscribers. I tested it: after I type in the email address and press “Subscribe” button it shows the message “A confirmation message is on its way!” , but it never gets sent to the email provided.

I read the troubleshoot page and I don’t have any mentioned conflicts.

Please help me – I am confused, because Subscribe2 works for already existing subscribers, but new ones can’t sign up?
