No compat. with "Advanced Image Styles" ?!

Hey there… Since WP 3.9 removed the easy image captioning, padding etc. options in images’ advanced options (in the visual editor) i am stuck with my images in widgets.
Your plugin is fabulous, but i need a way to add spacing between images in widget areas manually. That is currently not possible anymore with 3.9.
WordPress released the Advanced Image Styles plugin as a workaround but the advanced options it purportedly adds do not appear in your TinyMCE Widgets!!
I posted a topic in the “Advanced Image Styles” plugins support forum asking for help. Maybe you could help me out there.
