• Hi,

    I can’t seem to get the comments section up for my posts. I have comments section available on other pages of my site, but I can’t seem to get it to show up below my posts. Any thoughts?

    My site is https://www.noobcharts.com

    Thanks for any help!

  • Have you tried switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Thanks for the response! ??

    Just tried it but no dice. It’s strange that it says 0 comments and reactions at the bottom, but no where to comment. My other pages are fine.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

    comments and the comment form are by default suppressed on the front page: https://www.transformationpowertools.com/wordpress/front-page-comments-wordpress-blog

    you need to ‘force’ them by adding some code like this before the ‘endwhile’ of the loop in index.php:

    <?php global $withcomments; $withcomments = true;
    comments_template(); ?>

    Thanks so much! That worked! There is only one minor problem: I installed the Disqus plug-in, which is working fine on all the pages that I allow comments, but is not working for the front page. Any suggestions?

    Thanks again for your help. This is my first website ever, so it’s a really steep learning curve. I have no coding experience whatsoever. WordPress and the wordpress community rocks!
