    Hello,

I’d like to know how can I change the “No comment” link string to something else, like “Leave a comment” or whatever.

I’ was looking for this in the papers for hours ??

    Any help will be apreciated.

    Sorry. Solved.

Well, I have done the changes in the index.php and archive.php of the theme, between the tags:

    <p class="postmetadata">...</p>

There is the “No comments”. Just leave the string empty.

    fantastic – thanks

    You wellcome Stick

    Hi,
I wanted to eliminate the “No comments”too, but I didn’t find the tags
    <p class=”postmetadata”>…</p>
in any of those files. Any suggestions?

use the theme editor and go to Archive (archive.php) and then Main Index Template (index.php) those are the two files you need to change.

just look for the line identified by sergiourra and remove the text. Once you find it you’ll see the part for the no comments, and the vertical line, etc. you can take out what you don’t want to display.

It was actually easier than I expected – and if I can do it anyone can!!!

    Got it! Thanks!

Following on – what if comments are disabled?

We get “Comments are closed” at the bottom of a page.

I cannot find this text in any files. Where is it so I can alter it? (Kubrick; WP2.7.1)

    Thanks.
