no comment notification

  • Even though I’ve been through two wordpress upgrades since creating this blog, I’ve never received notifications when people leave comments unless it needs moderation. Yes, I’ve toggled it off and on and nothing changes.

    Also, when I respond to comments, the commenters don’t get notified.

    What do I need to do?

    Have you checked you have correct email settings in wp-admin?

    If I’m getting emails when a comment needs to be moderated, doesn’t that indicate that the email address is correct?

    If not, where do I check that? Is WP-Admin on the Dashboard? I’m looking for it and not finding it yet.
