Comment form on single video page is not showing even though I have the “Allow visitors to comment videos using the standard WordPress comment form. Comments are public” option checked. I don’t have any plugins activated that replace the WP comment area.

Please make sure you have enabled comments for the videos under “Video Gallery => Settings => Display (tab) => Single Video Page (submenu)” from your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

If yes, you must have kept the comments disabled previously and enabled it later. So, the videos added prior to enabling comments should be having the issue.

    Solution:

    1. Edit open your videos under “Video Gallery => All Videos”
    2. Scroll down to the “Discussion” meta box and check the “Allow Comments” option.
    3. Save the changes and check now.

Note: You can also bulk edit the videos under “Video Gallery => All Videos” and enable comments on all the selected videos.

    Hope this helped you!

Hello. I have always had the setting in AIOVG set to allow comments on videos. Also, I went to edit one of the videos where the form is not displaying and it has “Allow comments” checkbox selected. So what I am saying is comments are allowed in both settings area. Yet no form is visible.
