No classic Menu functionality

I am using the free version and I can’t create a simple menu with sub menu basic functionality.
The simplest thing that you can create with drag n drop in wordpress, is not working in this theme. You have to make non-clickable pages or create mega menus and at the end it is not working as it should do. In it’s documentation, it says only about adding or removing an arrow icon that appears on the menu..
