have expert plan. installed Fashion2 theme kit. there is no specific theme you install they are all one theme called royal elementor kit. not sure how it works but that is all you see after install. there is no child theme. i have messaged support but there is zero mention of child themes anywhere yet utilizing a child theme is standard practice. if you don’t know, if you make custom changes to the theme they get over written during update -not always and dependent. if you use code injector type customization like using a plugin like wpcode it injects code where you want such as header, body, footer, then your changes will remain after update. but they are only good for small changes you save as snippets. there are videos saying you don’t need a child theme. however all the pros i know use them and you’ll see the pros on youtube use them. the reason i am writing is maybe that practice has become deprecated and there is a better way. like i say there is no mention at all in this support or on their site. so if someone who really knows could give some advice on the proper work flow that would be great.

  • Hi @skie,

Thank you for choosing our theme and service.

We appreciate your feedback, and we want to ensure we understand your concerns correctly. It seems there might be a bit of confusion. Our product, the “Royal Elementor Addon” is a page builder plugin that works in conjunction with the Elementor page builder. The template kits you mentioned have specific names but aren’t standalone WordPress themes.

    Just to clarify:

You can use any WordPress theme with our page builder plugin.
Child themes are typically needed for themes that handle styles, options, and settings through theme options and the customizer.
With our page builder plugin, especially in the Expert plan, you can design pages, add conditional logics, and more without the need for a child theme.
If there’s a specific part of the issue we might be missing or if there are further details you’d like to share, please let us know. We’re here to assist and ensure a clear understanding.

    Kind Regards,
