No chef icon in post editor

  • I’ve download and installed the Plus. I had Ziplist before and learned to convert those pretty easily.

    Everything seems to be working fine – recipes are displaying and I even made some design changes. However, I cannot click on the “chef icon” in edit mode. Matter of fact, there’s no icon. Next to the “close tags” button, to the right is a “EasyRecipe” button (not an icon), just said EasyRecipe.

    When I had Ziplist, the toolbars are different in both Visual tab and Text tab (which is normal). With EasyRecipe, the toolbars don’t change. In the Text tab (and when I click on the “EasyRecipe”button), it of course said “Switch to the Visual Editor to add or edit an EasyRecipe”. But when I click on the Visual tab, the page/editor is completely blank.

    I dont know what’s going on. I opened a ticket with them so hopefully John would be able to help to resolve this. However, a confirmation of some sort would be nice, knowing that it’s delivered to the right person to take a look.

  • Sounds like your editor is in the text/html mode instead og the visual mode.
    After you get the blank page did you try entering some text. do you still have the editor toolbar.
    do you see the chef hat after you hit the visual button?
    can you post a link to your site?
