    G’day arunschandran,

It works in NextGEN Gallery 1.9.13, but seems to be broken in NextGEN Gallery 2.x now; I’m assuming that you have 2.x loaded, yes?

I’ll have to look into this to see if there’s a work around for 2.x, but could you please also report this bug on NextGEN Gallery? It’s something that has been broken since the recent upgrade.

    cheers,
    Ross

    Hi Ross,

Is there any other way to display an album with download template?

I tried, but NGG 2.x just isn’t playing. I’ve raised a support post with that plugin, so maybe they’ll fix their bug soon.

I hope to have another version of this plugin in a few weeks time that will use the (rather complicated) new display types in NGG 2.x to solve this problem. However, don’t hold your breath because I have a lot of other work on right now.

You best bet is to revert to using NGG 1.9.13 which works well.

    cheers,
    Ross

@arunschandran: if you put each gallery on a page using the nggallery shortcode, which lets you set template=download, then edit each gallery to select the linked page to that page, the album will link to those gallery pages. You can then have an album with each gallery using the download template.

    cheers,
    Ross
