No changes are taking effect – Can not edit, delete or add posts

I believe one of my writers uploaded corrupted images to our blog. I deleted the images from the media and library but they still appear on the post/site.

I can not edit, delete or add any new posts. None of the changes take effect even though wordpress says they do. Any help is appreciated it!
