No change after adding new listings

    Hello, I will try my best to explain my problem. I am not native. I am using business directory plugin. However when I enter new listings they are either not appearing on the website at all or after several days. I also experienced after adding another listing all once appeared but next day the previous screen showed up again as if I did not enter any new listings. I tried to delete histories and cache, refreshed but still no chage.It looks like it stucks somewhere and suddenly recovers itself. I am really confused. my website is aktiviteparki.com in Turkish. Directory can be seen at Cocuklu Hayat Rehberi. Could be there a logical reason? As far as I know changes should appear immediately on the website. Thax

    Hi muzy,

    Did you make the listings PUBLIC and PUBLISHED from the admin side? They must be both to be visible?

    Do you also have a page with the [business-directory] short code defined? Without it, you can’t see the listings from the front end.

    Hi, Thank you for the prompt reply. Yes I am using the page with [businessdirectory]

    The problem, as you directed, was under Post/Category Settings, Default new post status was set to “Pending”. I changed it to “Publish” and now I can immediately see the new added listings. Before that I had started to republish the set page for the businessdirectory each time I entered a new listing. No need for that now.

    I indeed thank you for your guidance. I really loved this plugin. Good work.
