• Hi there!

I followed you’re video tutorial on how to Map CF7 form fields to post taxonomies. I believe I have done everything correct. I have left the drop-down menu blank, I have mapped the taxonomy to my posts and made sure that the post type is “existing posts” so that it takes the categories from there, and have made sure the form is set to live. But for some reason, when you look at the drop-down menu on this test form, it is blank.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated ??

Update: I found the issue is with the new block editor that WordPress has. It breaks the JQuery your current plugin is using. At the moment I can’t find a way around it apart from using a different theme that doesn’t use the block editor functionality.

bummer! thanks for reporting this. I will look into this and get back to you

Hello, has there been any update in this?

I implemented this plugin on my forms without much issue earlier this year but discovered broken field mapping to taxonomies after updating core WP to 6.0.

With only CF7, ACF and this plugin on Twenty Twenty Two, I’m also experiencing similar issues mapping checkbox fields to taxonomies. The taxonomy dropdown value doesn’t save and shows up blank after saving the updates.

Apology for the late reply, I was away on work/holiday in Japan and didn’t get time to chase up these requests for support.

I need to look into this on priority given that Gutenberg is not becoming more mature ad accepted.

FYI, you can still get it to work by adding your form on a page and editing it with the classic editor.
