Hello…I have recently installed your plugin and I am facing an issue. The category name is not being displayed on the shop page due to which different category products are just mixed up and not organized. I posted on your fb group but nobody knew the solution. I have made the category and attached relevant products with it but name of category is not being shown on shop page. Right now I have just one category but I have tried adding several dummy categories and the problem still persists; everything mixed up with no categorical segregation.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The category or categories of products are not shown in the product block by default. It should be possible to do so with some custom code. The drawback of this would be that, if you do ever have a product in multiple categories, the category element could be quite long, and it would be difficult to neatly align your product blocks.

A product can be in one or several categories, that’s why products cannot be sorted in category order. Subject to the restriction that a product can be in only one category, it should be possible to sort them using some custom code. I’ve not seen this done, I suspect because people don’t want to limit the number of categories they could use for one product.

You can sort your products manually if there are not too many of them. Set the “menu_order” field on each product edit page, Product Data meta box, Advanced tab.

You can set whether your shop page shows categories or products at:
Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Categories > Shop Page display drop-down.
