No cache for logged in users

    Hi

    Cache is working fine for non logged in users but I get a miss for logged in users.

    X-LiteSpeed-Cache-Control: private,max-age=1800

    as you can see in log , the login user’s cache only valid for 30 minutes , so it could be normal you see a lot of miss since it will invalidate soon.

    Hi, sorry to jump into your thread, but I’m experiencing a very similar problem. Even though logs say it’s cached for 30 mins, subsequent requests still “miss”.

    In my case this log line ”?[Vary] set_cookie —> admin_bar:1;logged-in:1″ sounds suspicious, as user is not admin and does not see admin bar. Could this be case?

    But I get DONOTCACHEPAGE but I can’t figure out why.

    from your above log , the no cache due to admin page was referring to admin-ajax.php

    Is it possible to turn of calls to admin-ajax.php and still have a working site?

    I’am using BuddyPress and bbPress and I know BuddyPress is not cache friendly but I would like to cache bbPress and all other wordpress pages.

    admin-ajax is always no-cache , and I believe you grabbed incorrect log

    you can try set test in debug include URI, then open your page as /?test to only generate the relevant log

    I have this in .htaccess. If I comment out it works in Safari but not in Chrome for some reason. If I delete all of the lscache section the no cache section appears again.

    why do you add this cookie ? this will make it no-cache for login users for sure

    on your above log , both login user and guest user is visiting cachebale page

    refresh it again you should see it cache hit

    and please provide the report number again with latest conf

    The no cache cookie section is autogenerated and I can’t get rid of it. Even if I remove .htaccess it will reappear.

    My WordPress files is in a subfolder but I have specified lscache to look for .htaccess in /

    I have cloned my prod site to run on a subdomain but only in subfolder (start page in /subfolder) and in that setup private cache is working fine.

    I’am also using advanced ads that have a cache busting feature but it doesn’t matter if that is turned on or off. I don’t think I can use that feature together with lscache

    you need to go to Cache -> Exclude -> Do not cache cookie , remove it from there, directly remove on htaccess won’t work , it will come back

    just to make sure we are on the same page, how exactly did you specify plugin to look htaccess ? you will need to define 2 constant , one for front , one for back

    The cookie section is now gone. Thank you, but I still have issues both with Safari and Chrome. And I also have problems with my cloned sites.

    It could be related to two plugins, Advanced Ads and GD toolbox pro but how can a plugin prevent caching? Is there a way to debug to find out?

    watch the BACKEND one , you need to add prodcms into it

    Thanks but that doesn’t help.

    I have found out that two plugins are preventing page for logged in users due to variable cookies I think.

    How can I force private cache for all pages except for a few that I specify?
