• I just spend a good bit of time setting up both WP Super Cache and Autoptimize. However, in the Contents tab of WPSC, it says:

    Cache Contents

    Regenerate cache stats
Cache stats last generated: 6 minutes ago.

    WP-Cache (0KB)
    0 Cached Pages
    0 Expired Pages

    WP-Super-Cache (0KB)
    0 Cached Pages
    0 Expired Pages
    List all cached files

Expired files are files older than 1800 seconds. They are still used by the plugin and are deleted periodically.

I deactivated and reactivated WP Super Cache, but it still shows the same thing. Does this mean my pages are not cached? What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you,
    rg

Thank you for your reply. I did click the link previously. After awhile it said:

    WP-Cache (107KB)
    1 Cached Pages
    0 Expired Pages

    WP-Super-Cache (0KB)
    0 Cached Pages
    0 Expired Pages

Why would I have a WP-Cache page; I’ve never used that (is it part of WPSC)?

    And now it says:

    WP-Cache (0KB)
    0 Cached Pages
    0 Expired Pages

    WP-Super-Cache (54.04KB)
    1 Cached Pages
    0 Expired Pages

Those single numbers seem low, though I’ve only changed my website to WordPress a week ago.

Should I be worried that I’ve installed something incorrectly?

    Thank you again.

it is part of wpsc indeed

cached pages are created by WPSC when visitors request a page, so those numbers should go up with each non-cached page being requested.

you can check if WPSC works by going to your site in another browser (or in an private/ incognito window) and going through your site randomly. when re-checking your stats (don’t forget clicking that link) you should see a higher number of cached pages.
