I have QCache installed, activated and I see cache files in the /cache folder but I can’t get confirmation in the source that it is serving cached files. I cleared all cookies and browser cache and tried from multiple computers, but see nothing that indicates it’s working.

Should I see anything in wp-config or htaccess that references quick cache?

  • In your Quick Cache options go to the first one which is Enable / Disable.

At the bottom of that first panel you can enable “Yes enable notes in the source code so I can see it’s working”
    Apply that and save.

    That should do it.

@jmanpa Also make sure that you’re not logged into WordPress when visiting your site and looking for the Quick Cache notes in the HTML Source. By default, Quick Cache does not cache pages for users that are logged in.

I have the notes enabled, I have the Cache enabled, I saved it all. I go to another computer, look at my website and View Page Source.

    I have no notes after/html.

The word “cache” does not appear anywhere in the file.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

In Dashboard –> Settings –> Reading, do you have your Front page set to show your latest posts or a static page?

    I’m in the same situation.

Doesn’t it work if i have the front page to show the latest posts?

@aleksn It should work just fine with the front page set to a static page or latest posts; I’ve tested both in my lab and Quick Cache shows the notes in the HTML just fine.

Can you tell me what web host you’re using? If you have any other information about your hosting environment (OS, web server name and version, PHP version, etc.), that would be helpful.
