No button categories in gallery

You need to make sure that gallery was saved first. If you have new , not saved yet gallery you’ll not be able to manage galleries for this item.

Don’t you have installed some additional admin tools in wordpress backend? I mean some modifications with admin widgets which could impact to gallery settings.
