    I’ve just updatet to the latest version of Events Made Easy and now I get the below message, when I will sign up a participant for my recurrence event.

    No booking ID found. There is something wrong here.

    The formular worked earlier. Can you please help me what went wrong?

    You need to check your webserver logfiles. This means that something went wrong during the database update I guess …

    I am not that familiar with coding and databases. Can you please tell me, what I need to look for?

    That is asking support that is not easily done via a forum. I think it is best you ask your hosting provider for some assistance here then …
    In your webserver logfiles, the php/MySQL errors will be easily visible. Also, I guess your database user has no right to modify MySQL tables (add/delete columns), which causes the problem you’re having right now.

    Sorry I can’t do more, but currently asking help with webserver logfiles and MySQL is a bit beyond the scope of this forum. I’m more than qualified to help you, but that would require you providing me with all your hosting login details, which I believe is not very wise to do (or maybe using a contract and payment).
    So if you decide you need my help in this matter, feel free to contact me in private.

    There is something really wird with the plugin. I made a new event just for testing. Made it recurrence on 3 specific dates. When I am in admin-panel and click “Edit Recurrence” I am send to an old event from 2015. Is this something you can help me with or is it caused by the same issue in the database?

    It *might* be related …
    The easiest would: restore a db-backup from before you did the upgrade of EME and let it do the update again.

    But make sure your wordpress database user has the rights to update the database schema, otherwise the same problem will just happen again …

    I think I found the problem: people not yet in the eme db trying to register cause this error to happen. So I’m re-opening this as a bug and I’ll try to release a bugfix later this evening.

    oh this is nice ?? cause I could only get it to work when reinstalling both files and database.

    I just released 1.9.8 to fix this issue.

    Same problem here. 1.9.8 fixed it.
