No Blocks currently active, EVER?
-
I’ve got a couple sites (out of many that I manage) that send me summary emails of how many ip addresses have been blocked for the past week, and there are always quite a few blocks. However, when I go to ‘update the blocked ip addresses’ the blocking page always, without fail, will say ‘No blocks are currently active.’ This is even when there have been hundreds of blocks in the summary. Additionally, I have WF set to monitor attempts over 6 hours (minimum), and when someone breaks a rule, they’re (supposedly) blocked for 2 months.
So my question is, if I have the WF firewall set to block rule breakers for 2 months, why is there never (and I mean seriously never) any blocked ip addresses showing on the blocking page, even when it shows me in an email that there should be?
This is a pretty frustrating issue, and I simply don’t see how to fix it. Thanks for any help.
