No automatic link to download the file

    Hello
    I have a wp site (version 6.1) with woocommerce, with Elementor Pro v3.8.1 and Download monitor.

    I sell paper books and I would like to add e-books.
    I added Wen Fu essay on literature

    I can order it in the store but the confirmation email received by the buyer does not have the file download link.
    In download monitor I downloaded the file, I ticked: “only paid”, I put the product ID entered in woocommerce to make the link between the two.

    In woocommerce, Products, I checked “download” and “virtual”.

    In the store, I validated access to the directory where my file to download is.

    But after multiple attempts it does not work and when I go to the interface in my command, I see the file to download but with

    “Could not grant access – user may already have permission for this file or billing email is not set. Make sure billing email is set, and that the order has been saved.” The email is well defined. And I would like the link to be sent automatically.

  • Hello @clairettededie ,

    Could you please let me know where did you put the product ID and how you configured your product and download?

    The “paid only” is available only for Download Monitor’s shop, if you wish to use Woocommerce with Download Monitor you’ll need to setup the “File download method” to “Redirect only” ( this will let Download Monitor handle the downloads ) and configure the product as shown in the below image.
