No Auto Approval AFTER payment by Paypal?

    Hi I am having a problem auto approve registration after Paypal payment

    (I have latest version of plugin and wordpress and Paypal is in sandbox mode)

    Its a public event

    Eg. 10 tickets for event are available

    As soon as user submits form to book 5 tickets

    I get the following entry in “PENDING APPROVALS” and an entry in PEOPLE tab (correct)

    Then after the user submits the form if he then clicks Pay by Paypal button and pays for 5 tickets by Paypal

    If I check the PENDING APPROVALS the booking is still there with PAID NO status, and 5 tickets still PENDING (even though has PAID by Paypal)

    There are also still 10 tickets available on front end even though he has paid for 5 via Paypal

    The ticket count doesn’t reduce by 5 until I approve his registration manually in PENDING APPROVAL tab.

    The PAID status is always set at NO whether they pay or not.

    All paid and non paid options are listed in PENDING APPROVALS tab waiting for me to approve registration.

    I have auto approve registration AFTER payment selected but its not setting payment status to PAID and not reserving the tickets or reducing the ticket count. I have to manually do this.

    If the PAID status remains at NO, that means that the paypal confirmation doesn’t arrive on the server. Search for “eme_eventAction=paypal_notification” in your webserver logfiles. Maybe something is blocking it, or your paypal application checks the website referrer (your domain for example) and it is different maybe.

    thanks for the reply I will check that Franky. Just to confirm it has nothing to do with Paypal Sandbox?

    O yes, in paypal sandbox IPN’s are not sent. You can try and send own ipn’s from paypal via their site, but in the sandbox this is thus logical.
