I have been using WP Mail SMTP to send database backups with * WordPress Database Backup by Austin Matzko. Works like a charm until 1.5.1
Now there is an attachment with a length of 0 bytes.

    Works fine with last version

  • Hi RichHelms,

I apologize for the late response. I’ve installed the plugin and couldn’t reproduce the issue. You might need to contact the plugin’s support to fix the issue if any. Also, the plugin you’re referring to doesnot seem to route the emails through WP Mail SMTP.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Sanjeev

The email is from the email in WP Mail SMTP so I assumed coming through your plugin. I tried deactivating WP Mail SMTP and did another backup. It is from the default email for the site, wordpress@. Also blank.

The download works, the email does not.

Seems some other change that happened to coincide with your update to 1.5.2 is the culprit. Sorry about that. Thanks for trying it

I found another backup utility that works and will have to change to that.
