No articles to display – BUG

Hi Chris,
I think this is not a bug. In widget settings there is a checkbox Hide if no posts to show. If this is not checked then it should display this message. Are you sure this is checked and there are posts with same tags as the one you are saying that the widget should displayed?

What I mean is just, that the widget area gets messy if there are no articles with same tag. As you can see the whole border of my widgets are not displayed.

Maybe this image shows you what I mean:

In the previous version it was always displayed with the blue border. Also in articles with no related tag.

If I check “Hide if no posts to show”, than all articles are displaying wrong (no border in widget area).
I hope you could understand what I am trying to explain.

Have you updated your theme recently? I think this is a theme bug. ERP if no posts to display and option Hide if no posts to show is activated, just returns without displaying a single div.

The weird thing is, that the plugin worked great on previous version. Just after the update everything is as you can see somehow broken.

I`m using the latest version of my theme. And I have not changed anything since the previous version of easy related posts.

I really don’t know how to fix this. Could you maybe give me a link to your previous easy related posts? Maybe this will help.

Ok get the 1.4.1 version from here and I will look into it.
Deactivate plugin, replace the contents of the plugin folder with the ones in the zip, reactivate plugin.

Also give me a link of the theme you are using and the widget settings in order to try to reproduce this bug.

As you can see the first article I have posted is now displayed correct!

Please follow my instructions and report back if this bug is fixed.
In your plugin folder back up file <your_site_folder>/wp-content/plugins/easy-related-posts/erp_widget.php and replace it with this one. If bug is not fixed restore the first file.

Yep, now it works perfectly with the latest version of easy related posts.

Could you add a feature which allow to set the title above the thumbnail in the easy related post widget?

Holy Bugs! ??
