no admin on 2nd site on localhost

i am running 2 sites on localhost (mac, mamp) by installing wp twice. both were working fine, now when i go back into my first site, there is no edit button and i don’t know how to log into that site for admin….can anyone help with this?
i posted this earlier and it disappeared – would like to know why so i can post correctly.
