• I clicked “Update” on a post I was editing and then out of nowhere, I saw this:

    Not Found
The requested URL /middlemaan/index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache Server at middlemaan.com Port 80

    with this URL: https://middlemaan.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmiddlemaan.com%2Fblog%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

All I was doing was updating a post. Now middlemaan.com/blog is formatted all wrong and I cannot get back into the admin.

If I type: middlemaan.com/blog/wp-admin OR middlemaan.com/blog/wp-admin.php the browser just displays the error above.

Everything was fine one minute then completely ****** the next.

  • This is probably due to a plugin conflict with your theme or another plugin. I’m seeing 41 resources failing to load on your blog page, including tons of CSS files (which is way the styles are wonky) https://www.dropbox.com/s/ia0klmfb0ijso30/Screenshot%202016-11-01%2000.35.21.jpg?dl=0

I’d suggest going into your site via FTP and changing the wp-content/plugins folder temporarily to something like plugin-xx and then logging into your admin as normal. From there you can deactivate plugins until you find the culprit. I’d also recommend doing a malware scan. Download a plugin such as Wordfence and make sure you don’t have any malicious files on the server.
