We installed the “Woocommerce Added to cart popup (ajax)” by XootiX a while back, and as a result when “add to cart” is clicked, the only thing that pixel helper shows is “subscribedbuttonclick” and not add to cart event is triggered. With it disabled, PixelCaffeine fires AddtoCart properly. Is there a way that I can continue to use this plugin (its helped conversions quite a bit by avoiding the add to cart/cart page) and continue to fire the proper events?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for sharing the issue with that plugin. Give me some time to check your issue and try to find a solution to make Pixel Caffeine working with that plugin as well.

I will get back to you as soon as I’ll have a fix for this. Thank you for patience.

Any chance of an update? I’m considering removing it entirely but REALLY need some sort of way to shorten the WC checkout process. Our customers dont seem to like extra steps.

    Hi!

I made some fixes regarding the add to cart action in the new 2.0 version of plugin. Please, download the fixed version here https://www.dropbox.com/s/adubf6homp2p15v/pixel-caffeine.2.0.0.zip?dl=0 and replace with the one you have installed.

Let me know if it works for you with that plugin.
    Thank you for your patience.

Downloaded version 2.0 from the plugin page (dropbox gave me trouble) and I dont seem to be getting any add to cart actions one the product page. Anything that I need to change to make this happen with the new version?

The new version I posted previously is not live, this was the reason why I posted the dropbox link. Please, try again with this link and let me know if it solves your issues: https://www.dropbox.com/s/adubf6homp2p15v/pixel-caffeine.2.0.0.zip?dl=1

The fixes of the link version are not released yet.
    Thank you for your patience.

Followup, it also breaks the other plugin to where the popup no longer shows up.

Please disregard previous replies. Other developer had added the WooCommerce Product Stock Alert plugin to the site which was conflicting. Once that was deactivated it is triggering the add to cart event, but I did notice that it’s throwing out a total of 9 events upon add to cart being clicked. Is this to be expected?

    Hi,
    yes, they should be correct.

    1. Most probably you had clicked twice add to cart button, so this is the reason of double AddToCart
    2. The SubscribedButtonClick are events fired by Facebook automatically when a button is clicked, together with Microdata on page loading, here more info: https://www.dbpluspartners.com/blog-1/2017/5/23/major-update-to-the-facebook-pixel-heres-what-you-need-to-know
    3. PageView and AdvancedEvents are respectively the base facebook pixel and the event fired by Pixel Caffeine with advanced information about the current page and current user

Anyway, regarding the original issue of this topic, I finally tested the “Woocommerce Added to cart popup (ajax)” with the new fixes of Pixel Caffeine (that I posted in a previous reply) and it works great.

So, glad to see that it works for you too!
I mark this topic as solved.

    Thank you! ??
