No Add to Cart Button on Simple Products

Firstly, can you check the stock/inventory of the Simple Products and make sure that they are actually available?

Steps I’ve tried
Plugins are all up to date – still doesn’t show
deactivating the all plugins (aside from Woo) – still doesn’t show.
Using the Woo ‘Store Front’ them – still doesn’t show.

This issue is generally caused by a conflict and I do see that you have mentioned steps you have tried however, please could you confirm that you temporarily changed the theme to Storefront and then deactivated all plugins, except for WooCommerce, with Storefront still set as an active theme? Then, one by one, reactivated each plugin individually, and then repeated the action that is causing the problem?

Please confirm that these are the steps you have taken?

Additionally, please could you also clear your site cache.

If the issue is still present, please share a copy of your sites System Status, which you can find via?WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’.

I can confirm I completed the conflict test as detailed – and still had no add to cart button show on the site.

Thanks for providing your status report.

Does all your individual products include the Wishlist button?

Having had a closer look at your individual products, it appears that your YITH WooCommerce Wishlist may be responsible for hiding the Add to cart button. Would you please temporarily disable that plugin to see if it makes any difference?

Alternatively, it looks like the plugin has a setting where you are able to set the display priority of the Wishlist button on the product page. You could also try and change the setting there to select a different output to see if that makes a difference.

Gotcha. Thanks for giving that a go.

You mentioned that you have already made a temporary switch to Storefront theme, where the same behaviour exhibits, yes? Was that while the plugins were all temporarily disabled or did you only check the theme keeping all plugins enabled? It may very well be a combination of plugin and theme.

If you haven’t already done so, please switch to Storefront once again, this time with all other plugins except for WooCommerce core disabled and see if that makes a difference.

Additionally, and I know this is obvious, but also make sure your individual products include the price. If it does, please go ahead and resave one of these products without making any actual changes, to see if that makes a difference.

Then, head over to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and clear both the WooCommerce and the expired transients, followed by regenerating the product lookup tables on the same page.

Please let me know if that makes any difference.

I can see that you are using a couple of our revenue sharing extensions so you can create a ticket so that we can investigate this further from there.

Please open a ticket with your current system status report & a link to this thread so that we know the progress of the problem.

I switched to StoreFront with all the plugins off – they only difference was – the floating ‘Add to Cart’ button showed when I scrolled down the page. The one where it SHOULD have been didn’t show though.

The products include a price.

I’ve resaved a product – no change

I’ve also now cleared the Woo and expired transients and regened the product table to no avail
