After a recent upgrade I have lost a lot of functionality from the dashboard. I discovered that some plugins were the cause of some problems, but the main ones now are that I don’t have a link in the dashboard menu structure (left or top) for super admin, or network tools.

I still have privileges, if I enter the url directly, it works with no issues.

ie, under the plugins (no longer) collapsable tab, I have no options at all, unless I click the word Plugins, then I am able to activate/deactivate for each site as necessary. But I can no longer view active plugins, add new etc.

The network admin section and superuser are gone too. I have reverted all sites back to the default theme, I have removed ALL plugins, but these items are now just missing.

I am using multi-site, but I don’t think this is the main issue

ideas for areas for me to look?

  • the network admin link is on the top right. mouse over the “howdy, username” link.

you should be able to add and view active plugins from the network admin screens.

I want to comment that I think that’s a silly place to “hide” it, but at least now I know where it is. Everything else is so visible, why did they hide that? Wasn’t it visible on the top left under an older version?

Thanks anyway, that solves that issue
