no active visitors, no notifications

    hello

    it seems that after latest version update it doesnt work properly. it doesnt show any active visitors when i have chat “online”.it doesnt even show myself when visiting site from other browser or even from phone. it doesnt show the notification when someone starts the chat

    Thank you for your time on this issue, and our apologies for the trouble experienced.

    We were aware of this issue, and we believe this was due to a server side issue on our side. This has been resolved in the meantime, and I would like to ask you to confirm if you are still experiencing any issues?

    seems to be working ok now but sometimes i get this message “Connection to the server lost.. please be patient while we try restore the connection…” is it from your end or mine/website?

    As for visitors details is it possible to show ip also? on some visitors doesnt show country icon and for some users shows them using “facebook browser or chrome web browser if you could add the icon to them also

    Thank you for your time on this one.

    With regards to connectivity issues, it is possible that the server is momentarily disconnected in some cases, however if this is consistently occurring, I would recommend selected an alternative server location under Live Chat -> Settings -> Advanced features.

    With regards to the visitor IP tracking. Unfortunately under the GDPR we do not track IP addresses anymore within WP Live Chat Support. We are developing a new way of tracking users without exposing their IP addresses.

    Location flags are only present for users who can be located, meaning not all users will have a country flag associated.

    We will look into adding facebook browser icons in the near future.
