    no active cache after update to 1.6.0. in the html file there is also no hint at the end.

    the complete reinstallation of the plugin fixed the problem. sorry.

    I also had to uninstall and reinstall the plugin to make it work again, on two different websites.

    What version did you update from? Did you update the plugin manually or through the plugins page when this issue occurred?

    This issue would occur if the wp-content/advanced-cache.php file wasn’t updated. This process happens automatically when the plugin is updated by WordPress. That process wouldn’t be triggered if the plugin was updated in a different way. In case this happens to someone else deactivating and activating the plugin again will ensure the most current advanced-cache.php file is being used and will fix this issue. I’ll add something to ensure this is always up to date to prevent this from occurring again.

    What version did you update from?

    1.5.5 to 1.6.0 via wordpress auto update

    Update through WordPress for me too, one with the auto-update mechanism, the other going to the update screen in the admin.
