No action respone after push add new group type button

@alexlii It’s already fixed and pushed in 1.0.1 update, Please update the plugin and it will work fine.

After test, it works well, and it will show Group type option, and group type display at under group cover.

By the way, is there any way to show “group type filter” at front-end?

like, Hobby, sports, study, region….that would be great helpful for user to choose which group to focus on.

Any comments would be great appreciated.

@alexlii Group Type filter is in the queue, we have created a separate plugin for it to enhance Group Search with Group type. It will be released shortly.

The following is our testing process:

1.upload from FTP
2.I found it will automatically generate two Plugins show at backend, please look here:

3. I activated the second one, it shows group search and group type choice box at front-end, but there is no action if I choose one type.

4. If I activated the first one too, there will fatal Error at backend.

#buddypress is activated in Sub site, and also the sub site is root site for buddypress, since I deploy Buddypress by following B of official manual of buddypress athttps://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installation-in-wordpress-multisite/

Hi @alaxlii,
We have installed this plugin on our test server to test the issue that you’d mentioned but nothing of that sort happened.

One thing you can do is:
First remove any active installation of the plugin in your site(refresh the plugins url, see if the issue still exists).
Rename the folder to “bp-groups-search” and upload it on the site and activate it.
